Precision that takes off: Displacement and force sensors for aerospace applications

INELTA Sensorsysteme has been developing and manufacturing high-precision inductive displacement sensors and force transducers for renowned manufacturers in the aerospace industry since 2014. In this highly regulated and technologically demanding environment, we have established ourselves as a reliable and competent partner.

From the very beginning, our customers have valued our LVDTs and force sensors for their exceptional precision, long-term stability, and robustness – even under extreme environmental conditions typical of the aerospace industry.

As part of regular supplier audits, our customers evaluate INELTA Sensorsysteme based on key criteria such as technical expertise, consulting quality, and product satisfaction – with particular emphasis on the quality of our sensors. We consistently achieve outstanding results, clearly confirming our high quality standards and the reliability of our sensor solutions for aerospace applications.

LVDT and Force Sensor Expertise for Aviation

In aviation, a wide range of sensors continuously monitor safety-critical parameters that are essential for applications such as navigation, cockpit simulators, mechanical turbine control, antenna positioning, flap control, rudder trimming, pedal positioning, and general condition monitoring. LVDTs and force sensors from INELTA Sensorsysteme reliably capture these measurement values, enabling potential failures to be detected at an early stage, maintenance intervals to be optimized, and the highest safety standards to be maintained at all times.

Our employees are highly specialized and specifically trained for the development and production of sensors for aviation applications, ensuring that every component meets the highest standards of quality and precision.

We offer our customers both standard products and customized solutions tailored precisely to individual requirements. Upon request, we supply the complete measurement chain consisting of sensor, sensor cable, and electronics as a plug-and-play solution, including a calibration certificate.

INELTA Force Sensors: From Taufkirchen to Space

In space applications, sensors are exposed to extreme conditions such as vacuum, radiation, and massive temperature fluctuations – yet they must continue to monitor, measure, and deliver reliable data. To ensure the stability of electrical connections under extreme vibration and high g-forces, strict specifications regarding materials, flux, solder quantities, stripping distances, and cleaning processes must be precisely followed.

The INELTA Sensorsysteme team consists of highly specialized engineers and technicians who manufacture force transducers in accordance with the standards of the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS). A corresponding certificate guarantees that the solder joints of the customized force sensors comply with the recommendations of NASA and ESA.

Force sensors for space applications, as well as numerous other sensor systems, are developed and manufactured at the company’s headquarters in Taufkirchen near Munich. In addition to standard products, we also develop tailor-made solutions that are precisely adapted to our customers’ individual requirements – from the initial concept to precise implementation.
